Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Pipeline Plumbing Services ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Pipeline Plumbing Services regarding your use of our plumbing services, website, and any other services we provide.

2. Services Description

Pipeline Plumbing Services provides professional plumbing services including, but not limited to:

  • Emergency plumbing repairs
  • Drain cleaning and unclogging
  • Water heater installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Leak detection and repair
  • Pipe repair and repiping
  • Sewer line services
  • Bathroom and kitchen plumbing
  • Fixture installation
  • Sump pump services
  • Preventive maintenance

Our services are available to residential and commercial customers in Los Angeles, California and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability and may be limited by geographic location.

3. User Responsibilities

As a customer of Pipeline Plumbing Services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your plumbing needs
  • Grant our technicians reasonable access to your property to perform services
  • Inform us of any known hazards, pets, or special conditions at the service location
  • Be present or have a representative present during service appointments unless prior arrangements have been made
  • Provide a safe working environment for our technicians
  • Pay all fees and charges associated with services rendered
  • Communicate any concerns about services promptly

4. Payment Terms

Pricing: We provide estimates for all plumbing work. Our technician will assess the problem, explain your options, and provide a written quote before any work begins. Prices quoted are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.

Payment Due: Payment is due upon completion of services unless prior credit arrangements have been established. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

Service Call Fee: Emergency service calls start at $89. This fee is waived if you proceed with the recommended repair.

Additional Charges: Any additional work requested by the customer beyond the original scope will be quoted separately and require approval before proceeding.

Late Payments: Accounts not paid within 30 days of service may be subject to a late payment fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pipeline Plumbing Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not responsible for damages caused by:

  • Pre-existing conditions not caused by our work
  • Failure to maintain plumbing systems after our service
  • Acts of nature, including earthquakes, floods, or storms
  • Use of plumbing systems for purposes other than their intended use
  • Modifications made by parties other than Pipeline Plumbing Services

6. Warranties

Workmanship Guarantee: We guarantee our workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of service. If you experience issues related to our work within this period, we will return to correct the problem at no additional charge.

Parts Warranty: Parts installed by Pipeline Plumbing Services are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We will assist you in processing warranty claims for defective parts.

Exclusions: Warranties do not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse or improper maintenance
  • Damage caused by third parties
  • Acts of nature or other events beyond our control
  • Repairs performed by others on work we completed

7. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate existing service agreements under the following circumstances:

  • Non-payment for previous services
  • Abusive or threatening behavior toward our employees
  • Providing false information about service needs or payment ability
  • Unsafe working conditions
  • Requests for illegal or unethical services

You may terminate a scheduled appointment by providing at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
